[The end of the latest spell seems to have flushed a few people out of the woodwork.

Kai is in a room that appears to be a large greenhouse. It's mostly empty of plants, which would explain why he's hauling a bag of soil to the far end where several packets of seeds and a few baby potted plants are seated, dressed in worn jeans and a faded t-shirt that is slightly too small for him, probably something he picked out a few years ago and never threw out.

Axel (

conflagrate) is blowing bubbles in one of the main rooms. She hasn't been around at all in the last few months, but it doesn't look like she's been upgraded back into a Lea. Each of the bubbles has smoke in them, and popping them will release the smell of wood burning!

There's a kid of about nine in one of the kitchens, which appears to be full of highly venomous snakes. Oops.

A Naminé is seated on the edge of a fountain, dressed in her normal little dress despite the lingering chill of winter. There's a flush to her cheeks from the cold, but she doesn't seem too bothered as she trails her fingers through the water.

Lastly, that one girl Sora with the broken keyblade is making an appearance again, too. She's stretched out on the floor of a little den-like room with a fireplace, and she's got a pile of... drawings? She's no artist, but she's carefully adding lines to what appears to be a boat design!]

[This kitchen seems safe enough of people she's avoiding today, now that everything's back to normal, slightly less likely chance of horrible things- Oh for fuck's sake.]

[The kid is ignoring her - or maybe just hasn't noticed her yet - as he pulls a chair to the fridge so he can take down the viper that's decided it wants to hang out on top of it.]

Are these going to kill me if I walk in?

[Well. Why are there so many. How do they even react to werewolf smell? It feels stronger than usual, now that it's back.]

[His sneer is vaguely visible from the doorway, but he doesn't turn to look at her. The snakes seem pretty chill about something like werewolf , honestly.]

They might.

Well, whatever. Not like I haven't been bitten by worse.

[She eyes the snakes for a moment, then takes a few careful steps inside. If she gets bitten she is going to be so pissed off.]

That one paralyzes its victims and then burrows into the chest cavity to lay its eggs.

[He points, still not looking her way; there's a vibrant orange snake with a stubby nose and black eyes watching her from the table.]

[She looks at him, then follows where he's pointing to look at the snake.]

So why are they loose?

[He gets the snake down and it curls around his neck in a decidedly unfriendly way as he climbs off the chair, leaving him to finally look at her like she's a moron.]

How should I know? I didn't put them here.

[She freezes, eyes darting back to him. He doesn't know her, does he?]

Then what are you doing here?

[Axel's followed Kai today, not to help him but just to be with him, and somewhere that isn't their house. he's parked on a low bench, hunched over and intently focused on a handheld video game – KH3D, to be specific. he's tapping furiously at the screen, and there's faint cute music coming from it.]

Hey, should I make this pointy cat thing red or purple?

Purple.

[He likes purple, okay, it's a good colour. Once he's got all the soil he needs over there, he starts setting up little plots. He's going to grow some veggies; he knows he can get them easily in basically any kitchen, but it's nice to have something like this to work on.]

[purple is the best color, it's true. he makes an agreeable noise and pokes at the screen some more before finally sighing and pressing one of the buttons. there's an immediate shift in the music to something more serious and battle-y, and then he's mashing buttons like there's no tomorrow, accompanied by repetitive voice clips that may or may not be Riku.]

[Kai watches him fondly for a moment before poking through the seeds he'd gathered.]

What do you think I should plant first?

Uhhh. I've already forgotten what you were talking about planting, what're the options.

[YOU'RE a fondly. he pauses the game for a moment to give Kai his undivided attention.]

Vegetables, Axel. I'm going to grow vegetables. And some flowers as well, probably, maybe even some berries... but I'm starting with vegetables.

[God you're such a sweetie.]

That is the least specific answer you could've given me. But I like uhhhhhh. Tomatoes.

Alright, I'll grow some tomatoes, then.

[And maybe some peppers. And maybe set up a blackberry bush somewhere, even though that's not a vegetable.]

[So one of the downsides of being blind is that she can't exactly tell that the kitchen is full of venomous snakes...

She does hesitate in the doorway when her cane catches one though...What is that and why is it on the floor?]

[The answer will come in the form of a loud hiss and a noise as the snake she caught on attempts to bite the cane.]

[She yelps and stumbles back at that. Oh God there's a snake and it's BITING HER CANE D:]

[Her yelp is followed by a mean, childish laugh from further in the kitchen. The snake attacking her cane lets out another hiss and moves away, having apparently realized it's not going to kill an inanimate object.]

[She hesitates at that laugh...She tends to avoid mean types as a rule, but she's cautious about moving anywhere at the moment since she's unable to tell where that snake went.]

...H-hello?

What do you want?

[He's sitting on the counter, not that she can see it, and staring at her with a bored expression.]

[She can take a rough guess at where he is from where his voice came from. She can see the kitchen easily enough in her memories to know what's where.]

I..there's a, snake, right?

Uh, duh, there's like ten of them.

[Quite possibly more than that. Ten that he can see at a glance, anyway.]
