(no subject)

[Red appears to be his normal self, nothing off about him at all! He looks a bit uneasy as he heads down a hallway near the more populated areas, but other than that, everything's the same as always.

A few halls away, something vaguely resembling Red is shuffling along, head down. He looks emaciated, all pasty skin and bone, with tangled hair falling to his ears instead of his shoulders. He doesn't have a shirt on, just a pair of pants torn off at the knee, which gives off a full view of the complete mess he is. Thick, messily done stitches stretch over sluggishly bleeding incisions all over his front and back, and a hole in the crook of his arm is leaking something an acidic green.]

(ooc: I give you the aspect removed from Red: the experiments.)

[He just shrugs a little, clearly not caring.]

Whatever's easier for you.

[She frowns at him.]

It's your choice.

[He tilts his head back and closes his eyes.]

I really don't care.

[She manages to hold in a sigh and gestures to the counter.]

Lying down is fine, then.

[He nods and gets back into position. At least there's only a few visible wounds left, right? ~~Don't worry there aren't any on his legs or anything.~~]

[~~Good.~~ At least. She won't say anything else as she gets back to it, and unless he has something to say there won't be any more conversation until she's done.]

[That's fine, he's not that talkative right now. She'll be able to work in silence as he goes back to staring at the ceiling.]

[She'll finish up faster this time, between the smaller wounds and remembering what she's doing, plus less shaky nerves. When she's done she cleans then up herself and turns to find a roll of gauze.]

You can sit up.

[He does so slowly, examining Riku's work while she looks for that gauze. He's glad he's got someone who knows what they're doing here.]

[She doesn't respond this time, busy getting everything ready. There's plenty of stuff here, anyway, and she does know what she's doing. Sadly that means a lot of experience doing it in the first place. When he's ready she'll wrap him up.

Gee that's familiar. Riku's glad it's not broken ribs this time.]

[He doesn't fidget or anything, just staying still, though moving if directed to do so!]

[She's giving him a couple touch signals, just things like putting a hand on his shoulder to ease him into turning one way. For the most part, though, she's got this on her own. He might end up with gauze weighing more than he does at this rate, but it means he will be well protected.]

You should put on a shirt over this, to keep the bandages- and you-- safe.

[It's pretty clear she finds the latter pretty important.]

Should I get one from his room?

[Because there's a difference between the two of them right now. Even if this Red knows Riku, has Red's memories and all that, he's still a part of Red that was 'finished' before he ever came to the DR. Or something.]

... Something tells me that might not be a good idea.

[She's seen how Red acts around his younger self. She's not sure she wants to see him around this one.]

It's not like we can't find one somewhere else.

True.

[It is the dressing room. And that's a good idea, Riku, you're smart!]

[She finishes up with the bandages and fixes it so it won't come loose, then gives him another once-over to make sure she's done everything she can.]

Can you move alright?

I think so.

[He'll give it a try. He moves just fine, even a little easier now that she's taken care of all that mess.]

[She looks glad for that, even as she backs up and moves around to make sure.]

... Do you want to stay at my place until this is over?

Is that a good idea?

[It doesn't seem like it, to him, but he won't argue with it if she really wants him to.]

Why would it be a bad one?

[Genuine confusion here. Sure, she could stick him in an empty room somewhere, but this would be easier.]

[He just shrugs. Maybe Red would swing by or something. Hell, maybe Serein won't like him like this, who even knows.]

[If Red has a problem with her housing someone injured she'd get pretty pissed, even in this case. She frowns a little, then motions with her head that they can leave the bathroom.]

Think about it on the way. You need some clothes.

[Don't worry, Red would be scowly but wouldn't comment. He'd just avoid her house until the spell was over. This guy nods and gets ready to follow her, smoothing a hand over the bandages absently.]

[She's glad he's cooperating. She would have left him alone if he hadn't wanted help, but she would have been very sad. Anyway, to the nearest closet.]

[Even this Red part doesn't like to make her sad okay. He's following obediently- and definitely following, not attempting to walk beside her at all.]
