[Hood up and heading down the hall without a sound, Red seems more like a wraith than a person. He hasn't been seen in the DR since shortly after having to kill Riku. His jacket seems huge on him, hanging from his more skeletal than usual frame. His face is hidden by long, dirty hair and the shadows cast by the heavy hood, lips twisted in an ugly, not very sane smile. His pants are stained with dirt and ash and blood, and if his bony hands weren't in his pockets, the mangled, bloody tips would be quite visible.]

Well, it doesn't matter now, does it? She's not here, and she hasn't been for months now. Do you really think she's even coming back?

Yes! She will come back! This wouldn't be the first time it's happened.

[He... clearly believes she's not coming back, for whatever reason ~~and knows that it's entirely his fault that she isn't~~. It's why all he does is continue to glower at Roxas, not believing him at all.]

I know how much it fucking sucks. I miss her too! But we can't just give up on her because she hasn't shown back up yet!

What does it matter? She's home now.

[He opens his mouth to retaliate, but stops short, looking down and frowning instead. He thinks for a moment before responding.]

... she'll come back. She has to.

Why? Why? Isn't she better off there, away from the spells and the bastards and all the shit she has to worry about here? No more worrying about what psycho will be after her friends next, no more sinking so far into Darkness she might as well be vomiting Heartless.

As if she's not going to have to deal with that back home! Do you know what her world is like? And what if time didn't stop for her? I've seen that before in a world like her's-- It's not any better than here!

I know that the Organization was finished.

[And that's what really matters, isn't it? After all, the majority of the psychos here...]

They aren't the only threats.

[He's clearly getting frustrated here, and just turns away, hunching over again.]

[He sighs at that, roughly running a hand through his hair.]

Look. I hope you're right. I hope she's back home and safe and happy. But I still think she'll come back. You know about your future selves... even if it takes years, she has to come back at some point, right?

He... The older me.

[He pushes his hood back abruptly, running his hands through his hair. It just gets blood in his hair, ultimately, as it's too dirty to really be smoothed down at this point.]

He doesn't remember having to kill her.

[You're crushing his hopes and dreams, here, Red.]

So something changed! That doesn't mean everything else won't happen!

Hn. Keep telling yourself that, Roxas.

[Sorry, was he supposed to be prancing around in optimism.]

Just wait. You'll see.

[And he's leaving it at that, turning and heading for the door.]

[There's a mumbled 'whatever' and he starts walking again, looking even more miserable than he had before.]
